Upcycled Denim Vest

This upcycled denim vest is perfect for the one who wants to stand out from the crowd. The vest was first a thrifted jacket. After removing the sleeves, it was bleached to enhance it even more. The dark and checkered denim patches and pockets add a uniqueness to the overall design. There is also a bold pleated detail on the back. It resembles a pleated skirt and is the perfect way to dress up the bleached denim. 

This piece was thrifted from a vintage shop. It was thoroughly inspected, laundered, and pressed before any upcycling was done. The original tag was not intact but the measurements are consistent with a women's L denim vest. Also, there is light stretch in the denim.

Bust/Chest: 21"

Length (neck to bottom): 30"
